Module 3

Experimenting with code provided according to the video tutorial provided, and with scanning objects then processing them.

Activity 1

I began the activity by pulling up P5JS and dragged the downloaded files in which I got from the class teams page.

But, as I looked at the preview there was nothing displayed so I looked through the different files to find the problem to learn from the situation.

After pulling up the preview into my browser I was fustrated because I could not figure out what was wrong. So I chatted with my professor to figure out the problem.

After solving the problem and fixing the folders the graphics started to work in browser.

When clicking on a resource provided a 404 page appeared.

This resource did work when clicking the link but I did not end up using it.

This resourse opened and was helpful for later rererence.

After getting the code to work I was able to look through and I research online to learn more about it works. It will be handy if I ever need to use simular mechanics in the future.

Here is the original graphics with my head tilted and the blue stripes toggled off.

I uploaded images I already had into my folder to allow for a more efficent use of time.

This is my final graphic created with my face far away from the camera. The screen shots were hard to take because I had to stay very steady.

This is the original image where I found the bugs I desired to use, they were found on adobe stock image which I have learned to use often as it is well suited for the programs needs.

A rainbow gradient circle was created in order to make a kelidescope effect when images are layered ontop.

This is a screenshot of my code folder, I labeled all of the images in order to easily copy and paste my components together which I learned from past projects.

Activity 2

This is my first scan on Scaniverse, the object did not turn out well and I could not at all identify what the object was later besides the red on the fabric.

I tried the ladybug again to learn from my mistakes made last time, when processed this model had more detail which I hope to achieve with this final product.

The imported 3D model files had to be unzipped.

The files were imported in a way that was confusing so they were reorganized.

This is a front view of a scan the Cerin did of me, where I sat in a chair. We did this to experiment with how the face can be picked up by the software.

Reflexive Workshop 1 & 2

This semester has been a train wreck for me due to a lot of life issues, and academic issues with my accommodations and the strike. This has lead to the sunk cost fallacy devouring me.

My anxiety spiked so hard I tunnel visioned into whatever idea felt like it had to be the “right” idea, because the fear of failure and not doing well got so bad I ended up developing mini panic attacks. I don’t handle stress well.

So now I’m in a position where I have a massive to-do list, and definitely not enough time to finish everything, so I might end up failing anyway.

The crashout will be biblical.

Anxiety is something that can take over someones whole life. So what happens when it takes over not only how someone perceives themselves but how they act. I suffer with General Anxiety Disorder which greatly affected me in high school and middle school. Many people make assumptions about anxiety disorders, such as getting anxious about every little thing when that is not the case. This is confirmation bias. This disorder can make you feel that you are controlled by your environment, by those around you, however this does not determine how anxiety disorders affect other people. Losing control and losing your sense of self. This is a self-portrait of how it feels to be overcome by a detrimental amount of anxiety.
